Tibor Zikov, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in heavy civil construction, including the design of temporary structures and construction of water reservoirs, large dams, railroads, and roadway infrastructure projects throughout the West Coast. His career has evolved from a surveyor, field engineer, estimator, and structures superintendent to project/structures manager on large transportation projects and projects delivered by alternative methods with challenging schedules or other constraints that involved complex coordination with stakeholders from initial concept to completion. Before co-founding Z+K Engineering Inc, Tibor had owned Zikov Engineering Inc. since 2007. Tibor has been a registered professional engineer since 1997, and he is a member of the Caltrans/Industry Falsework Advisory Team and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Justin Klug, P.E., has over 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction and the design of temporary structures. Before co-founding Z+K Engineering, Justin owned his own engineering consulting company Klug Construction Engineering, Inc. for four years. Before starting his own company, Justin worked at Flatiron, where he spent his career bouncing between field engineering, project management, estimating, and general engineering. Justin spent his last three years at Flatiron as Chief Engineer for the southwest division. Justin has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from San Diego State and has been a registered professional engineer since 2011.
